What is MyMountNittany?
MyMountNittany is a secure online portal that allows you to access your health information, schedule appointments, communicate with your care team and more — all in one place. It’s available 24/7 through your computer, tablet or smartphone.
Why the transition from Meditech to MyChart?
Meditech has served us well, but we are committed to improving how we deliver care and communicate with our patients. MyChart offers enhanced features, greater accessibility and improved functionality, making it a more effective tool for managing your healthcare.
How do I sign up for MyMountNittany?
You can sign up for MyMountNittany by answering some short questions.
Can I access MyMountNittany on my smartphone?
Yes, you can download the MyChart app for free on your Apple or Android device. Once downloaded, select Mount Nittany Health as your provider and log in using your MyMountNittany username and password.
If you already use MyChart, you select “Add Organization” and can search for “MyMountNittany.”
Is my information safe on MyMountNittany?
Yes, MyMountNittany is designed with your privacy and security in mind. It uses advanced encryption and secure logins to keep your health information protected.
Do I need the MyMountNittany app for video visits?
Yes. If you have a video visit with us, you will need to download the MyMountNittany app and create an account before your appointment. All video visit details — including instructions and the link to join your appointment — will be sent through MyMountNittany.
To help ensure your visit goes smoothly, we encourage you to:
- Create a MyMountNittany account
- Log in before your scheduled appointment date

Can I access my child’s or other family member’s MyMountNittany information?
Yes, you can request proxy access to manage the MyMountNittany account of a child or another adult (with their permission). Proxy access allows you to view their health information and perform certain actions on their behalf.

Note: If you had proxy access in Meditech, it will not automatically transfer to Epic. To continue having proxy access, you will need to set it up in Epic. What should I do if I forget my MyMountNittany username or password?
Simply click “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password” on the MyMountNittany login page and follow the prompts to recover your account.
Can I use MyMountNittany for emergencies?
No, MyMountNittany should not be used for urgent medical situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit the nearest Emergency Department.
What if I need help with MyMountNittany?
If you encounter any issues or have questions, support resources are available through links provided on your healthcare provider’s website. MyMountNittany is here to help you stay connected, informed and in control of your health, no matter where you are.
